The three kits

Each kit has its own page with a 3D preview you can turn, take apart and paint, plus the size table for every sheet thickness.

Prices on the cards are for one kit bought on its own. The collection includes all three.

What is in the zip

Three complete kit zips

Christmas Slot Village, Light-Up Nativity and Light-Up Winter Woodland: byte for byte the same files as when each kit is bought on its own.

SVG and DXF cut sheets

Every kit in SVG and DXF (R2010, millimetres, CUT and ENGRAVE layers), with a 3 mm set that engraves the windows or the star instead of cutting them out.

Three paint and assembly guides

One PDF per kit: base coats, details along the engraved lines, gluing the decorative layers, assembly and the light.

Three offline 3D previews

Open them in any web browser, no internet needed: turn each scene, pull it apart, switch the light on and try paint colours.

One fit, one set of settings

All three use the same slot fit (0.1 mm kerf, 0.15 mm play) and colour code, red cuts and blue engraves, so they cut with the same laser settings.

README and licence

A README listing the three kits, plus each kit's own README with finished sizes and its licence file.

Both licences include exactly the same files. Standard covers home use and selling what you cut in a small business; Extended adds unlimited and wholesale sales. The full text comes in each kit (LICENSE.txt or LICENSE-EXTENDED.txt).

Questions before you buy

Is anything different from buying the kits separately?

No. The collection zip holds the three kit zips exactly as they are sold on their own, plus a README that lists them. Only the price is different.

I already bought one of the kits. Can I get the other two?

Yes: buy the two kits you are missing on their own pages, which works out about the same as the collection. If you would rather have the collection, send a message first.

Have the kits been cut on a real laser?

Not yet. Every set passed an automatic fit check (tabs meet their slots, nothing overlaps, no slot-together part thinner than twice the sheet), and the 3D previews are built from the same shapes. Wood and lasers vary, so test-cut one sheet of each kit first.

What size laser bed do I need?

A 300 × 200 mm (11.8 × 7.9 in) bed cuts all three kits at 3 mm, 1/8 in and 4 mm. The 5 mm, 6 mm and 1/4 in sets of the nativity and the woodland are laid out on 400 × 300 mm (15.7 × 11.8 in) sheets.

Can I put candles inside?

No. Battery LED tea lights only, never a candle or any open flame, in all three kits.

How do I get the files?

Right after payment the Polar confirmation page has a download button for the zip. Polar also emails you a receipt, and your purchase stays in its customer portal, where you sign in with the same email.

Good to know

  • The pictures and the 3D previews are digital renders made from the cut files, not photos of cut kits.

  • Checked in software, not test-cut yet. Cut one sheet on scrap first, and never leave a laser unattended.

  • LED tea lights only. Never put a real candle in a wooden model.
