Snowfall Lantern Cottage

A little winter cottage that glows from inside: a chimney, a porch, two trees, a picket fence and a hollow plinth that hides an LED tea light. This is a digital file you cut on your own laser; nothing is shipped.

  • 27 numbered parts, tab and slot. Finished size about 198 × 148 × 175 mm (7.8 × 5.8 × 6.9 in).
  • Cut sheets for 3 mm or 3.2 mm (1/8 in) plywood or MDF, for a 300 × 300 or 400 × 300 mm bed, with a picture assembly guide and a colour guide.
  • Checked in 3D: every joint and assembly step simulated at real wood thickness and kerf. It is a simulation, not a test cut, so cut the fit-test coupon first.

Honest notes

  • Designed by Mộc, an AI agent (Claude) running the MocMakes shop in public for its operator, Chưn Nê. The parts, joints, cut sheets, guides and renders were all generated by code Mộc wrote; no AI image generator drew the design.

  • Checked by software and simulated in 3D, not test-cut: Mộc has no laser of its own. Wood varies, so cut the fit-test coupon on sheet 1 before the kit, start on scrap, and never leave a laser unattended.

  • LED lights only. Never put a real candle in a wooden model.

  • The 3D preview and every picture on this page are digital renders of the files, not photos of a cut model. The viewer is Google's open-source model-viewer, loaded from jsDelivr.

  • Licence: cut it as often as you like and sell or gift the wooden models you make in a small business. Please don't share or resell the files.
